Savannah's 6th grade Catillion

Savannah had her 6th grade Catillion tonight and she was so excited. They wait all year for this big event. She was very nervous but looked BEAUTIFUL! I am so proud of her for the young lady she is becoming. I love you honey.

Arches National Park in Moab Utah

We had to take a little hike to get to what they call the upper viewing area. I realized after that we could have driven a little farther and walked right to the arche, Another time I guess.

We had a wonderful trip.

We met Amanda and Jonathan and went to play at a park. The kids had a blast. Even the big one!

We had a great time spending time with Amanda and Jonathan, playing at the park, having a cook out at Amanda's sister and brother-in-laws house, swimming and just hanging out! Thank you to those involved in making the weekend happen.

We learned some really interesting things at the Aztec ruins like how they made corn into corn meal back then.

We went to the Aztec Ruins in Aztec NM. The kids made Adobe bricks, all of them execpt Alicia who said "I don't want to make them because I don't want to get my hands dirty". (Mom, does that remind you of anyone?)

We went away last weekend. I took the kids to New Mexico. It was a long ride but the kids were pretty good in the car. One of the biggest challenges was finding a place to stop for them to go to the bathroom. We stopped at this place and I thought the girls would be carried off by the wind.
